Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: How many recitals are there and when are they? Which one am I performing in?

A: We will be having 5 recitals this year, split up between Friday Nov 20 and Saturday Nov 21st. If you are involved in REDS/Broadway you will be performing at both Friday recitals. If you are in StageWorks you will be performing at one Saturday recital. For those doing one solo act, we’ve intended for families to have to attend only one recital. We sent out spreadsheets to our families so that you may be able to start planning accordingly. Please contact either us or your teacher directly to update any information in the spreadsheets.

Q: Can I change which recital I'm in?

A: Please note that due to the volume of students, we will not be able to accommodate requests to change recitals. If there is an urgent need or emergency please contact us directly.

Q: Are the recitals in person? Will masks be worn?

A: As you know, the health and safety of our students, teachers, and families are a top priority. We have been in contact with the health department about safety regarding the recital and they have said it is imperative that we not go on with the recital as planned.

Therefore, our fall recital will now be a pre-recorded virtual event.
We know that this will come as a disappointment to many of you -especially since some of you have already purchased seats for the live event. The good news is that if you have purchased tickets, that fee will now be prorated to December’s tuition and you will only be responsible for the remainder of the monthly tuition due.

Q: Will there be tickets?

A: Since there are licensing/performance/copyright fees associated with a large majority of these performances and since we need to pay our video editor to compile these recitals, there will be a new fee of $12 per child to participate. There will be no tickets, only a flat participation fee of $12.

Those who paid for tickets will have their fee prorated to December’s tuition. This event is optional. It will not be required. We only want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to perform and have the life experience involved.

Q: Is the recital mandatory? Who is able to perform?

A: This event is optional. It will not be required. We only want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to perform and have the life experience involved.

Students that have been studying for 6 months or more are eligible to perform. In some cases, students that have only been studying for 3 months may participate if approved by their teacher. However, we understand if you would prefer not to participate at this time. If this is the case please contact us directly.
