Alec Arnett
Voice, piano, and saxophone instructor
B.M. Music Performance, Otterbein University
Alec Arnett, originally from Portsmouth, Ohio, is a senior at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio where he studies vocal performance and music history. He is a student of Dr. Karen Eckenroth (voice), Dr. Suzanne Newcomb (piano), and Prof. Jennifer Bell (organ). Opera credits include Dr. Gregg in Moore’s Gallantry, Buff in Mozart’s Der Schauspieldirektor, Peter in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel, and Amantio Di Nicalo and Master Spinellochio in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi. Alec also performs with the Otterbein Concert Choir and the Early Music Ensemble. He is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, the National Association for Music Education, the Ohio Music Education Association, and Delta Omicron: an honorary music fraternity for which he serves as the 1st Vice-President.
