Alec Arnett

Alec Arnett, originally from Portsmouth, Ohio, is a junior at Otterbein University in Westerville, OH where he studies vocal performance and music history. He is a student of Dr. Karen Eckenroth (voice) and Dr. Suzanne Newcomb (piano). Opera credits include Dr. Gregg in Moore’s Gallantry, Buff in Mozart’s Der Schauspieldirektor, Peter in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel, and Amantio Di Nicalo and Master Spinellochio in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi. Alec also performs with the Otterbein Early Music Ensemble, and currently serves as president of Concert Choir under the direction of Dr. Gayle Walker. He is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, the National Association for Music Education, the Ohio Music Education Association, and Delta Omicron-Omicron Alpha: an honorary music fraternity for which he serves as the Service Chair.
