Bachelor of Music Performance – Voice
Jordan Padilla is an Arizona native, graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Arizona. Currently, she is pursuing both her Master’s degree in Voice Performance and a Singing Health Specialization Certification at The Ohio State University under Dr. Katherine Rohrer.
Jordan has experience in performing anything from solo voice competitions to choirs. Her voice is recognized both stateside and internationally through an assortment of first, second, and third place prizes in vocal competitions. Most notably, first prize in the Concorso Internazionale Musicale Citta di Pesaro 2022 “Bring Your Rossini” Competition based at the Rossini Conservatory in Italy, and second prize in the Amelia Rieman Vocal Competition in Arizona. Significant Operas she has been a part of are: “Le Nozze di Figaro” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and “Suor Angelica” by Giacomo Puccini. Jordan has also been in various award-winning choirs for over ten years, performing everything from concert choir to show choir.
Though a performer, Jordan has an extensive teaching background. She concentrates on Voice and Piano, but has taught subjects like Math, English, History, Science, and Art. Teaching these subjects has allowed her to see how music flows through everything, and she uses it to connect to the world around her.
Jordan approaches music from a genuine passion, and she is delighted to share her joy of music with her students!
