Luke Ahern

Luke is a local musician and educator living in Marysville. He has been playing guitar for over twenty years in a wide variety of live settings and groups. Luke‘s focus musically is on contemporary styles of guitar including, blues, roots, country, rock, funk and contemporary worship music.

In 2018, Luke started the new Performing Arts Pathway at Marysville High School where he currently teaches and directs the theater productions. He is a graduate of MHS and went on to pursue fine arts in college. In 2012, he graduated with his Master of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin. He currently plays with the praise and worship team at Peace Lutheran Church in Gahanna and fronts a blues band who performs in the Columbus area.

As a teacher he hopes to provide students with instruction based upon their own interests that is applicable and accessible to build lifelong musicians.
