Susan Musselman

Dr. Susan Musselman received her bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from Western Michigan University and her Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in vocal performance from The Ohio State University. She studied at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria, as well as completed the K-12 music teaching licensure certification through Ohio State. An accomplished singer, Susan has performed in Europe as well as throughout the midwest. She has been active in the Central Ohio music community for 19 years by performing with Opera Columbus, The Lancaster Chorale, the Education and Outreach program with Opera Columbus, and has been a featured soloist with The Columbus Gay Men’s Chorus, the Heisey Wind Ensemble, the OSU Chorale, the Wittenberg Choir, and the Columbus International Children’s Choir.

After 9 years of teaching at Wittenberg University, Susan shifted her focus to the Marysville community through her private studio and Trinity Lutheran School. She resides in Uptown Marysville with her two children, is currently singing with the Union County Singsations, and is thrilled to be joining the Red School of Music family.
