Open to the public—anyone may submit a piece and must select their age division. Submission is free, but event will be ticketed.
All ages—two age divisions:
Division 1: Youth Division (Ages 10-17)
Division 2: Adult Division (Ages 18+)
Competition details
Applicants submit a recording of their piece (can be performed by themselves or someone else) Pieces need to be under 6 minutes total. Any instruments/vocals allowed. Pieces containing explicit or provocative language, themes, or materials will be disqualified.
All pieces must be originals—no arrangements or covers permitted.
Finalists will be notified via email and invited to participate at final round. Final round will be a ticketed event. Finalists have free participation and must provide their own performers/instruments/vocalists for their number.
Each division will be judged and participants may take home their judging sheet. There will be an audience choice vote available for each division. First place winners will have the opportunity to have their pieces featured on the Red School of Music YouTube channel.
Applicants will have the opportunity to sign up for a 1-1 coaching with their piece to take it to the next level and/or receive information about producing and professionally recording their pieces.

Judging criteria: Technique, language, artistry, and presentation
Limited seating available, first reserved, first serve. Each competition finalist will receive one comp ticket to the live round. When tickets are available for reservation, all finalists and applicants will receive an email with the link to reserve tickets.
