During his time at Ohio State, Noah has played in many big bands and small group settings on a variety of instruments. While his primary instrument is saxophone, he has also spent a great deal of time touring playing euphonium and trombone with the Music City Drum Corps (Nashville, TN) and Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps (Houston, TX). Noah’s performing career has also led him to spend 3 years with Matrix Performing Arts (Akron, OH) as a cymbal performer. All of these experiences combined have led him to be well versed in a wide variety of styles from jazz to funk and pop to classical. Noah’s primary philosophy as an instructor is to help his students develop a sound that is unique to them and reflects their interests and influences, while exposing them to new works to progress their musicianship.
